The 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale is renowned for its energetic atmosphere, and Grillo’s ace added to its storied history. This was the 12th hole-in-one recorded at this hole during the tournament, with the previous aces occurring in 2022 by Sam Ryder and Carlos Ortiz.

Grillo’s remarkable shot is being compared to Tiger Woods' famous hole-in-one at the same hole in 1997, which is often credited with starting the rowdy traditions at the 16th hole.
