Tad Lemire
Tad is known for being light-hearted with a self-deprecating sense of humor. He’s often compared to Larry David because he finds himself in crazy situations that he always handles the “wrong way".
Tad loves exploring the city with his wife, Jessica, his son, Sam, daughter Sophie, and their Havanese dog, Louie. With two young kids, there’s little time for anything beyond Hippo Hop. When he gets the chance, Tad enjoys running, biking, making beer at home, photography, dining out, travel, interior design (especially collecting mid-century furniture), and live music. He’s always up for a new adventure, which explains how he once found himself riding an ostrich in South Africa and hiking an iceberg in New Zealand. His philosophy is “no interesting stories come from the main roads.”
When asked about his career in radio, Tad says, “I feel very fortunate to be able to make a living doing what I do. I feel it’s my duty to give back to the community whenever I get the chance. I’m particularly passionate for organizations that help children by removing barriers that might prevent them from achieving their dreams.”
